4: DAYS SELOUS DRIVING SAFARI ITINERARY

Among these virgin African bushes is the Selous Game Reserve which is also the largest reserve in Africa. This park is easily accessible by road from Dar es Salaam but also by air from Zanzibar, Ruaha, Mikumi, Arusha or Serengeti. We can incorporate Selous Game Reserve into a longer itinerary that includes the usual highlights of a Tanzania Safari or offer a short packages to only Selous.

Day 1: Dar es Salaam – Selous

We depart from Dar es Salaam and head off towards to Selous Game Reserve area, Afternoon Game drive. Sundowner drinks are enjoyed at one of the waterholes before returning to the Lodge to enjoy a traditional Tanzanian meal around a log fire. Overnight at Lodge. FB.

Day 2 – 3: Selous Game Reserve

Early morning walk. Learn about natures finer details like bird, tree and spoor identification. Afternoon game drive till sundown. Overnight at lodge FB.

Day 4: Departure– Dar es Salaam

More of the Selous amazing ecosystems on an early morning game drive. Lunc at the Camp, drive to Dar es Salaam arriving in the early evening.
