5 Days tARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK, SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK & NGORONGORO CRATER

Day 01: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

In the morning we will pick you up from your hotel and drives you to Tarangire National Park. Park with its endless tree savanna and seasonal marshes is also home to the largest elephant herd in North Tanzania; with over 4000 at the last count, it takes some beating. To add this you can also watch giraffes, buffalo, lions, zebras, gnus, and different types of antelopes and gazelles.

Upon your arrival at the Park, your driver will attend service with an open-roof jeep and an extensive wildlife watch will begin with our lunch box to be taken at a picnic spot, and in the afternoon you will get to see more of this amazing and beautiful park.

Later in the evening, you will arrive at Marera Village Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park.

Breakfast at around 0700am. Pick up from the Lodge at 0700am and drive to the Great Serengeti National Park (14,763 sq km or 5,700 sq miles) with your Picnic Lunch Packed and game drives en route via Ngorongoro Crater rim. Serengeti National Park is home to lions, leopards, Elephants, Cheetahs, Buffalo, Zebra, Wildebeest, Eland, Wild dogs, Gazelles, Crocs, and more. A lot of birds include the Eurasia migrants. You will have all meals in your reserved Overnight,

Day 03: Serengeti National Park - Full Day Game Drive

Wake up earlier in the morning and take your breakfast to prepare for another day’s activity in the endless plains of Serengeti with packed lunch boxes.

On this day you will continue with a game drive in Serengeti National Park. Remember this is the migration safari, so as Serengeti is very large as your game drives will depend on the move of the migrants, your guide knows very well how to track the herds. You will have all meals in your reserved and packed lunch box.

Later in the evening, we will take you to your lodge for an overnight while enjoying the magnificent and spectacular views of the sunset over the great plains of Serengeti

DAY 4 Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast in the morning pick up at 06:00 at your Lodge and drive to Ngorongoro Crater with packed lunch boxes.

On this day you will be able to ascend into Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive with a spectacular view of Ngorongoro Crater. Ngorongoro Crater is just one part of a larger area of interrelated ecosystems consisting of the crater highlands (to which the Ngorongoro Crater belongs) together with larger stretches of plains bush and woodland. Ngorongoro conservation area covers an area of about 8300 sq km. Near its center is the Olduvai Gorge where many fossils have been earthed. Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa’s best-known wildlife –viewing areas. The crater is about 20 km wide and it is one of the largest calderas in the world. Within its wall, there is a variety of animals and vegetation, including grasslands, swamps, forests, salt pans, a freshwater lake, and rich wildlife. The wildlife found includes lions, elephants, buffalos, wildebeests, Thomson’s gazelles, and zebra’s reedbucks, this is an exciting day as everyone like to continue the game drive till afternoon when it is an ideal time to take your lunch.

Later in the evening after a short game drive, we will take you directly to your lodge for an overnight.

DAY 5Ngorongoro Crater -Arusha

After breakfast in the morning pick up at 06:00 at your Lodge and drive to Ngorongoro Crater with packed lunch boxes.

On this day it will be cultural tour activities with the spectacular view of Ngorongoro. Ngorongoro Crater is just one part of a larger area of interrelated ecosystems consisting of the crater highlands (to which the Ngorongoro Crater belongs) together with larger stretches of plains bush and woodland. The crater is about 20 km wide and it is one of the largest calderas in the world. Within its wall, there is a variety of animals and vegetation, including grasslands, swamps, forests, salt pans, a freshwater lake and rich wildlife.

Around the afternoon after taking your lunch we will drive to Masai Village for another day’s activity to experience and learn about Maasai culture.

Later in the evening, you will be in Arusha at your hotel for the last night and departure on the next day.
