Day 00: Arrival Kilimanjaro International Airport – Green Mountain Hotel Arusha 30 July 2022

On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport KIA with a code JRO, our guide will meet you and drive you to your hotel in Arusha at Green Mountain Hotel. On this day you will be able to exchange your currency in Arusha town and process your SIM card and in the evening you will have a welcome dinner with Ombeni at the hotel.

Arusha is a city in northern Tanzania and the capital of the Arusha Region, with a population of 416,442 plus 323,198 in the surrounding Arusha District located below Mount Meru on the eastern edge of the eastern branch of the Great Rift Valley, Arusha has a temperate climate. The city is close to the Serengeti National Park, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Lake Manyara National Park, Olduvai Gorge, Tarangire National Park, Mount Kilimanjaro, and Arusha National Park on Mount Meru.

Day 01: Chemka Hot-spring:

Morning Activities

Earlier in the morning after breakfast pick up from the hotel in Arusha at 09:00am and drive on tarmac road and our guide will take you direct to Chemka Hot-spring about 1:45 hours.

Day Activities

On this day in the morning you will be able to visit Chemka Hot-spring in Moshi for a day relaxation. In this day you will be able to refresh and enjoy the cool air around the hotspring also you have a chance to swim on a natural pool with spring water. In the afternoon you will have a lunchbox at the picnic site.

Evening Activities

Drive back to Arusha town for an overnight at your hotel and you will get chance for briefing and introduction about your safari on the next day.

Day 02: Lake Manyara National Park – Maasai Village:

Morning Activity

Earlier in the morning after breakfast pick up from the hotel in Arusha at 09:00am and drive on tarmac road 130km with lunch box to Lake Manyara National Park (330 sq km or 127 sq mile’s).

Day Activities

Before afternoon you will be on the base of the Great Rift Valley (Lake Manyara National Park), for the game drives. The park is home to Lion, Hippo, Elephant, Zebra, Buffalo, Giraffe, Baboon, Blue and Vervet monkey, Warthog and more…About 350 species of birds have been recorded. This small park contains also five distinct vegetation zones. Thus supporting a large variety of birds and animals. The Manyara National park is also famous for its large flocks of flamingos. In this park and canoeing has recently been added to the tourist activities in this park at extra cost. You will have your lunch box to eat at the picnic site in the afternoon to see the park from a new perspective.

After taking your lunch it will be another good time for a tour to Maasai Village. On your arrival to Maasai village you will get a chance to learn and engage in cultural activities of the Maasai tribe. Maasai tribe are the Nilotic and pastoral society depending on hunting and gathering for their daily life. On this day you can dance, listen and enjoying music performed by women group. Not only that but also you will learn the history and their culture.

Evening Activities

In the evening we will drive back to your hotel for an overnight while enjoying the magical and spectacular view of African sunset.

Day 03: Tarangire National Park:

Morning Activities

The Tarangire National Park with its endless tree savanna and seasonal marshes is also home to the largest elephant herd in North Tanzania; with over 4000 at the last count, it takes some beating. To add this you can also watch giraffes, buffalo, lions, zebras, gnus and different types of antelopes and gazelles.

Day Activities

Upon your arrival at the Park your driver will attend service with open roof jeep and extensive wildlife watch will begin with our lunch box to be taken at a picnic spot and in the afternoon you will get to see more of this amazing and beautiful park. Later in the afternoon you have choice to start with game drive in the morning since the animals are easily to see before they hide into the shades.

During later evening you will be driven to your lodge at Marera Village Lodge for an overnight.

Day 04: Ndutu Migration in Northern Ngorongoro:

Morning Activities

Today early in the morning we will have the option of take lunch box with you to Ndutu in Northern Ngorongoro which border Serengeti in the Southern side for migrations.

Day Activities

This will be amazing trip to see and witness the migrations in a short time. You will find an amazing variety of animals. Alongside the “big five” (elephants, buffalo, lions, leopards and rhinoceros) you will find virtually all of the animals that can be found on the entire east African savanna. At a chosen picnic spot you will have lunch and the rest of the afternoon will be devoted to more wildlife watching. Later on you will leave the Ndutu to go back to your lodge where you will enjoy the views of crater and wonders of the 7 natures. In the evening you will arrive at your lodge.

Evening Activities

Later in the afternoon drive from Northern Ngorongoro(Ndutu) direct to your lodge for an overnight while enjoying the views of the crater and ready to take another adventure to Ngorongoro Crater on the next day.

05: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha – Zanzibar:

Morning Activities

Wake up earlier in the morning and take a breakfast, then pick up around 07:00 from your lodge towards Ngorongoro Crater.

Day Activities

In this day you will be able to experience the magnificent and spectacular view of Ngorongoro crater with the songs from various birds’ species over the crater. Not only that but also you can get a chance to see some of the big cats. Ngorongoro crater is just one part of a larger area of interrelated ecosystems consisting of the crater highlands (to which the Ngorongoro Crater belongs) together with larger stretches of plains bush and woodland. Ngorongoro conservation area covers an area of about 8300 sq km. near its center is the Olduvai Gorge where many fossils have been earthed. Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa’s best known wildlife – viewing areas. The crater is about 20kms wide and it is one of the largest calderas in the world. Within its walls is a variety of animals and vegetation, including grasslands, swamps, forests, salt pans, a fresh water lake and rich wildlife. The wildlife found includes lions, elephants, buffalos, wildebeests, Thomson’s gazelles, zebra’s reedbucks. In the midday it will be a good time to take your lunchboxes for a lunch in the picnic site. There after having another short game drive before back to Arusha Airport to take your flight to Zanzibar.

Evening Activities

In the evening you will be at Arusha Airport to take your flight to Zanzibar for another holiday relaxation.
